2009 Badge-Fights Championship ResultsMay 13, 2009, before 1500+ spectators, the inaugural Badge-Fights Submission Grappling Championship took place in Palm Springs, CA. The night events featured five exciting championship & three exhibition bouts before an animated audience and press crews from throughout Southern California. The grappling finalist represented the best-of-the-West firefighting & law enforcement grapplers competing for the annual Badge-Fights Grappling Championship belt, a winner take-all $500 purse, the "Conrad Salinas Patriot Championship Team Cup," and the opportunity to facilitate in the efforts to raise critical monies for the event's fallen officer charity.
