What is Backdraft Event Productions (BDP)?

BDP, Inc, a public safety owned & operated, is a full event production entity serving the public safety community through the conduction of charitable warrior vs warrior cage mixed martial arts competitions. As the lone provider of warrior cage competitions, the BadgeFights Cage Grappling League stands-alone in its advocacy of fallen warrior charities and of submission grappling!

What is the Badgefights Submission Grappling Competitions (BFSGL)?

BFSGL is a No-Holds-Barr Submission Grappling event pitting the toughest public safety servants against one another in an old-fashion, mano-e-mano duel of the best grappler. BFSGL events incorporate strong patriotic themes, promotes an environment that is respectful to our fallen brothers & sisters, as well as; affords maximum entertainment value.

What is submission grappling?

Submission is a hybrid martial art encompassing judo, jiu-jitsu, sambo, and wrestling. Submission grapplers engage in a one-on-one duel - with the winner -established by the submission of his challenger. Though relatively new to the scene, submission grappling has proven its dominance time-and-time-again against its more traditional cousins.

How do I make the Badge Championship team?

Tryouts for the BadgeFights All-Star team will be held annually in-conjunction with the Nevada Police & Firefighter Games World Public Safety Submission Grappling Championship! Victors of this World Public Safety Submission Grappling Championship will have the opportunity to join the all-star police or firefighter championship squad for a cage clash, title opportunity, and purse - before 1500 spectators in Las Vegas!!

How do I request a charitable event for a union/poa fallen officer/firefighter charity?

Email the event director, Wayne Womack, for consideration. If selected, there will be no charge for the event production. BDP will absorb all production cost - the benefiting charitable organization will be expected to co-market the event.
